size: 5"w x 7"h

Created: March 10, 2016
Modified:

Well I seem to be keeping up with Tim's 2016 tag challenges... This one's for the March challenge.

I using one of the NEWEST "A Way With Words" dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs  ("Dream"), designed by Suzanne Cannon  also available on Quietfire Design HERE

And I'm using several quote and sentiment stamps from Quietfire Design  and an eCut file available on Silhouette onLine store "St Patrick's Day Card in a Box"

("Look For The Dream..."); ("If You Don't Believe in Miracles" 3pce set); ("Twirl and Enjoy" 3pce set); ("Happy Birthday - Let Them Eat Cupcakes" 4 pce set); ("We Cannot Tell the Precise Moment..." 2 pce companion set)

Created Tim's tag:

Die cut a bunch of Tim's tags using the "Bookplate & Tag" die from white cardstock.

Die cut a couple corner pieces with the Thinlits Mixed Media set from another piece of white cardstock. adhered the two together and trimmed down. Used the Distress Crayons "47902" set, then smeared with my finger, then misted with a bit of water and smeared some more.

Tore of a piece of corrugated cardstock from an Amazon box BIG GRIN, peeled off one layer of paper, smeared some Gesso over it, dried then die cut with Tim's Frameworks "Trellis" die. Adhered pieces of it here and there.

Now cut or raided my stash for all the detail elements. The Chinese lantern was eCut and stamped with Versafine Black Onyx (Chocolate Baroque clear stamp set "Chinese Lanterns").

The bird (Marianne Designs LR0138) die cut from white cardstock and colored with Tombows.

The fern foliage (Ecstasy Crafts "Maidenhead Fern") die colored with Tombows.

The Anemone (Elizabeth Craft Designs) colored with Pan Pastels and veined with Tombows. Stamen are die cut from Spellbinders "Bloom 3" die set. Large green rhinestone center.

The shamrocks were eCut (Suzanne Cannon on Silhouette onLine store).

The Dream was die cut 5 times. Four of them adhered together using Krylon adhesive spray. Top one inked with Versafine Vintage Sepia and embossed twice with Emerald Creek Hot Stuff Burnt Copper Leaves". Then adhered to the 5th white dream slightly off set.

I had a punched pansy border (Martha Stewart) laying there so colored it with some Distress minis yellow and purple and adhered to right edge of tag.

Tied a bow with a green/silver Sari ribbon.

Scored and folded my white  card. Stamped with Cornish Heritage Farms "Scrapblocks Newspaper Ads" inked with the sepia. Adhered the tag at an angle.

Stamped the quote a piece of white cardstock using the black and clear embossed. Sponged some green around the edges, and added two small green brads. Adhered to card with 3D foam tape.

On the inside: Inked the flower (Penny Black "The Unfolding") using Distress Minis "Picked Raspberry" & "Seedless Preserves" on the flower, "Ground Espresso" and "Forest Moss" on the trunk and leaves. Misted with water and stamped.

Inked the various sentiment words with the raspberry, then a touch of the preserve and then a touch of Black Soot, stamped and clear embossed. the "Enjoy Your Day" was stamped separately with "Shabby Shutters" then here and there with the moss and the black, stamped and clear embossed.

"My friend" was stamped on another piece of white cardstock, using the raspberry, preserve and black, clear embossed, trimmed down and selectively dry embossed with Darrice "Photo Frame" embossing folder. Sponged lightly with a dirty pink sponge.
