size: 5"w x 6.25"h

Just got a bunch of new dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs and thought I'd use one of them. BIG GRIN - love the stitched frames

Also using one of the NEWEST "A Way With Words" dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs ("Happy Birthday"), designed by Suzanne Cannon (also available HERE).

And using a quote stamp  from Quietfire Design  part of it on the outside and part on the inside.

("Some People..." 2 pce companion set);

Scored and folded my cream toned card. Layered a piece of light green Bazzill cardstock.

Die cut the largest stitched rectangle from white cardstock and lightly hit the edges with Distress "Broken China". Adhered to card front.

Created the center piece: Die cut the "Happy Birthday from white cardstock. Placed it under my "Swirly Flourish" (Elizabeth Craft Designs) stencil on white cardstock. Sponged the upper 2/3's with the broken china and the lower 1/3 with "Mowed Lawn". Removed the stencil and words. Sponged heavily on the words with "Picked Raspberry" and clear embossed. Love the speckled look of the letters.

Die cut the stenciled background with the next long stitch stitched rectangle in size. Hit the edges with the broken china and mowed lawn. Wrapped a piece of satin green ribbon and tied a bow. Adhered the bow with a hot glue tool. Then adhered the letters with white glue.

Stamped the first part of the quote using Versafine "Black Onyx" and clear embossed. Adhered 3 very small black rhinestones.

On the inside: Stamped the rest of the quote masking the first couple words using the black and clear embossed.

Stamped the "Bluebird" (Elizabeth Craft Designs - Bianca Petroschi) with a very juicy black pad, stamped on to a piece of clear lino (Jack Richeson Easy Cut Clear Lino), creating a reverse image, then stamped that onto my card and clear embossed. (PS you can use a clear acrylic block or a piece of rubber). Colored with Prisma colored pencils.

Used the 2nd smallest long stitch Stitched Rectangle die with my tan mat to emboss the design but not cut it. My clear acrylic plate was placed shy of the bird image so it didn't emboss the whole rectangle. Then sponged some of the broken china around the edges, highlighting the stitching.
