I really wanted to do something with fall leaves... And I started with alcohol inks and did a calligraphy piece, then I wanted to make a card... but sponged my leaves instead. 

I'm using one of newer  "A Way With Words" dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs  ("4 Seasons - Autumn" 4pce set) also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm using quote stamp and a couple sentiment stamps on the inside from Quietfire Design   ("Autumn Is A Second Spring"); ("Just For You" 4 pce set); ("Ten Tiny Sentiments" 10pce set)

Die cut the large leaf (Sizzix "Tattered Leaves") from stencil material and sponged using Distress pads ("Scattered Straw" all over, then here and there with "Wild Honey", "Mowed Lawn", "Barn Door").

Stamped the quote minus the "Autumn" word using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Die cut the word "Autumn" from yellow cardstock and ran a brown marker around the edges.

Used a narrow embossing folder (Sizzix "Running Stitch") and embossed with my hard rubber mallet. Hit the high points with a dirty brown sponge.

On the inside: stamped the sentiments using the black and clear embossed. Masked off the words with a post it.

Inked the leaves (Rubbernecker "Maple Leaf" & "Leaf 5") applying with the Distress mini pads from above, misted with water and stamped.
