tag:
Die cut the tag using Sizzix Tim's
"Tag Bookplate" die from white cardstock. Using a palette
knife, smeared Eberhard Faber Twin Color "Green/Bronze"
acrylic paint. The technique this month was the "mosaic"
technique. I had a bunch of left over bits and pieces of Anna
Griffin's Rosa embossing folder cardstock, so cut this up as needed.
Adhered to tag on the diagonal. Applied Glossy Accents, set aside to
dry.
eCut the word "Awesome" and
a shadow layer from white cardstock. Sponged Distress "Ground
Espresso" on the shadow layer. On the top layer, inked with
"Broken China" and embossed with Emerald Creek Hot Stuff
"Blue Sparkle" embossing powder. (has a beautiful glitter
to it...). adhered the shadow layer to the underside of the tag,
then adhered the upper layer over it.
Die cut the "flourish leaf"
(Boss Kut), inked and sponged with greens and adhered to tag.
Adhered a bunch of blue quilled
flowers adding a white half pearl to the centers.
Die cut the lace border (Joanna Sheen
"Isobel Lace Border") from white cardstock. Inked with
Versamark and embossed with Emerald Creek Hot Stuff "Silver
Satin Pearl" embossing powder. Punched holes for the brads and
attached lace to the edge with blue brads.
Created an eCut file of the flower
(Penny Black "Botanical Notes" and cut from CP watercolor
paper. Painted with QoR watercolors and adhered to tag. Added Liquid
Pearls "Daffodil" dots to the flower center.
Tied a blue/gold Sari bow and kept it
in place with hot glue.
Side folded my white card. Inked the
brick background stamp (Impression Obsession CAC) using "Worn
Lipstick" all over and hitting here and there with Black Soot,
misting with water and stamping. Repeated to cover the card front.
Adhered the tag.
