ID: Guest TTCRD July - Luggage Easel - Paris - Love Where you're At card
size: 5.5"w x 7"h

Created: June 26, 2016
Modified:

I won on the challenge June 14 - 20 on the TTCRD blog and was asked to be a guest designer, which I accepted. I rec'd an image of choice (Bits n Bobs - Luggage) from  Dr Digi House of Stamps.

I'm using an "A Way With Words" die from Elizabeth Craft Designs ("Dream"), designed by Suzanne Cannon  and also available on Quietfire Design  HERE

I'm also using a quote and sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design

("Francais" 9pce set); ("Love Where You're At")

I scored and folded my cream toned  card. Cut apart my embossing folder (Sizzix "Eiffel Tower") so I could emboss from the bottom up rather than the top down... Hit the high points with Distress "Weathered Wood" and then lightly sponged with "Tumbled Glass".

Downloaded my luggage image, enlarged it, printed and eCut with my electronic cutter. Colored with Prisma colored pencils and some Lyra Metallic pencils. Added textural elements by using various embossing folders as texture plates and running my colored pencil over the high points (Sizzix "Damask", "Retro Circles" and the Eiffel Tower). Adhered to card front.

Die cut the "Dream" from cream toned cardstock, inked with "Blueprint Sketch" and embossed with Emerald Creek Hot Stuff "Blue Sparkle" embossing powder.

Die cut the letters for "BIG" using Tim's "Vintage Market" Alphabet set, inking with "Fired Brick" and clear embossing. Adhered the word elements to front.

On the floor: Stamped the word "Paris" on to cream toned cardstock using the Blueprint pad and clear embossing. Stamped the "Here I Come" using Just Right "Brayton alphabet set and using the Fired Brick and clear embossing. Trimmed down, scored and used a corner rounder punch. Adhered to floor as stopper.

Adhered some red/white stitched ribbon to the floor, then adhered a piece of dark blue narrow ribbon giving me a red/white & blue ribbon...

Stamped the quote using the blue all over and then here and there with the red, stamped and clear embossed. Die cut with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Ovals" die set. Adhered to floor with 3D foam tape.

Adhered some Fleur-de-Lis silver glittered chipboard stickers.
