I'm really enjoying making these various step cards. BIG GRIN. Love using Designs By Ryn stamps as well. She does such a nice job of them. ("Hummingird 1" set & "Hibiscus" set). I also had a bunch of Color Burst decorated watercolor paper that I demo'ed at the recent Paper Pastimes pop up event, so figured I better start using them...

The rubber stamp quote & sentiments are by Quietfire Design  as well as the "Celebrate eCut word available on the SIlhouette onLine store.

("How Beautifully..." 3pce set); ("Let Them Eat Cupcakes..." 4pce set); ("Twirl & Enjoy" 3pce set); ("Friends" 4 pce set); eCut ("Celebrate"), ("Holly & Ivy")

I scored and folded my white cardstock to create the fancy fold step card.

Cut my decorative paper to the step sizes. Inked some of the edges with a yellow Prisma Premier marker before adhering my decorative papers. Covered some of the step blocks with a light rusty orange and a light brown textured cardstock. And some of the steps colored with ochre Pan Pastels.

I had created silhouette images of the hummingbird, hibiscus and leaves from the stamps. eCut some from regular white cardstock and some from Soft Finish cardstock. Stamped the bird with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed, painted with QoR watercolors, added a very small amber rhinestone eye. The Hibiscus was stamped on the soft finish cardstock using Versamark and clear embossing then coloring with Pan Pastels, adding a large aqua rhinestone center. he leaves were stamped with the Versamark and colored with the pastels.

Quote stamped on white cardstock using the black and clear embossed. Die cut with Spellbinders oval die set, sponged around edges with Distress "Wild Honey".

Celebrate was eCut from white cardstock and hit with Distress mini pads in yellows and some green, dried, Quickie Glue pen applied and sprinkled with Warm Diamonds glitter. A shadow layer cut from white and inked with "Ground Espresso" - layered both together then on to card.

Stamped the various sentiments with the black and clear embossed.

Adhered all my elements...
