Elizabeth Craft Designs  (ECD) has been licensed to make dies of Suzanne Cannon's (Quietfire Design ) calligraphy. Today's card uses "Best Wishes" (available on Quietfire Design HERE)

I finally got my new Laser printer so I've been experimenting with using it in conjunction with my hot laminator and metallic foils. Loving some of the results. BIG GRIN.

What I have found is your image has to be high contrast black and white, you need a newer laser cartridge & clean printer rollers - so no ink transfers to your cardstock. Place the printed image into your laminator carrier (usually a cardstock folder) with your foil on top of your printed image - good side facing up. Run thru your machine, wait a couple seconds for it to cool before lifting the foil away. experiment...

The rubber stamp quote is by Quietfire Design

 ("Blessed By The Christmas...");

Top folded my white card.

Copied/printed my die shape on to white cardstock. Ran through my laminator with copper foil. Die cut using the Elizabeth Craft Designs "Berry Branch". Removed the positive shape from the cardstock and applied a piece of double sided tape to the back of the negative shape. Adhered my little drop out pieces from the positive piece into the negative piece, sprinkled with Elizabeth Craft Designs silk microfine glitter "Spring Peridot". Trimmed the negative done.

Used Elizabeth Craft Designs "Sea Glass" embossing folder and selectively embossed around the edges using a hard rubber mallet. Sponged some Distress "Shabby Shutters" around the edges and then with a bit of "Forest Green".

Cut a couple pieces of a Kraft/gold striped cardstock for the top and bottom. Adhered them and then adhered my negative piece. Adhered my positive piece.

Stamped the quote using Versafine Toffee and embossed with copper embossing powder.

Adhered the green variegated/gold Sari and tied a triple loop peg bow ribbon, adhered to card with a glue gun.

On the inside: used the die to cut from fun foam adhered with double sided tape. Then cut a 2nd one and adhered both together. Inked the foam with "Mowed Lawn" and touched with "Vintage Photo", stamped and embossed with the copper embossing powder. Repeated the inking, misted with water and stamped, then stamped again without re-inking.

Die cut the Best Wishes from white cardstock, inked with a brown pad and embossed twice with Hot Stuff "Burnt Copper Leaves" embossing powder.
