ID: MC Oct/15 - Digi Frame Xmas Scene - Silent Night card
size: 7"w x 5"h

Created: October 12, 2015
Modified:

I came across this digi frame by Monica Gomez on Pinterest... There was a building scene in it which I removed to create my own scene.

The rubber stamp quote & sentiments are by Quietfire Design  and the eCut available on Silhouette onLine store

("Silent Night" 2pce set); ("Good Friends..." 4pce set); ("Winter Wonderland" 4pce set);  eCut ("Winter Wonderland")

I scored and folded my dark blue cardstock. Since it not wide enough to complete the card, adhered a front piece on the hang over.

Printed out the frame image in white cardstock. Stamped the trees (Deep Red "Winter Pines" & Just For Fun "Pine Forest") using Distress "Forest Moss" & hitting here and there with "Ground Espresso", stamping and clear embossing.

Wet my sky area and charged it with QoR watercolors in Manganese Blue and Ultramarine. Dried. Used a very light wash of the blue in the foreground.

Dipped my brush into some Copic white opaque ink diluted with water and splattered to mimic snow.

Stamped the sentiment using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

eCut the deer from white cardstock and colored the top layer with a dirty brown sponge, adhered the 2 layers together and then on to the card.

Painted the frame design with gold QoR. Dried. Added some of the light blue wash to parts of the frame. Used a Quickie glue pen in the corner designs and sprinkled with Stickles dry glitter "Diamonds".

Final touch added light blue rhinestones.

On the inside left: Covered the hang over join with the blue/gold Sari ribbon and added a white snowflake ribbon.

Stamped the sentiment using Versamark and embossed with Hot Stuff "Turquoise Shimmer" embossing powder.

On the inside Right: adhered a piece of granite stationary. Adhered the Peel Off glitter snowflakes (Elizabeth Craft Designs).

Stamped the quote using the black and clear embossed.

Stamped the deer with Distress browns.
