ID: MC Nov/15 - Quill Candle, Light Tomorrow - ECD Best Wishes card
size: 5"w x 7"h

Created: November 15, 2015
Modified:

We had to skip over our quilling session this past week for Remembrance Day, so I didn't get my quilling fix... So did a bit today using the encyclopedia pages to get a gold edge to my candle coils. The poinsettia have Stickles dry glitter "Star Dust" sprinkled on them.

The rubber quote and sentiment stamps are by Quietfire Design  the die "Best Wishes" designed by Suzanne Cannon available HERE and on Elizabeth Craft Designs HERE

("Light Tomorrow..." ); ("Tiny Christmas Wishes" 3pce set)

I scored and folded my red textured cardstock.  Adhered a very textured white Lava cardstock tearing the edges to give a more natural look. Adhered the red/god Sari ribbon.

Adhered my quilled elements. Die cut some pine sprigs (Dee's Distinctively "Ponderosa Pine" die set) from Color Burst decorated paper I had on my desk. Added the Sari ribbon bow using a hot glue gun, then added the little yellow star button.

Stamped the quote on white cardstock using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed thend die cut with Spellbinders "Decorative Labels 8" die set. Sponged some Distress "Barn Door" around the edges and adhered to card front using 3D foam tape. Added clear rhinestone dots and diamonds.

On the inside: stamped the candles (Elizabeth Craft Designs "Christmas Candles") using the black, clear embossed and colored with Prisma colored pencils.

Die cut the "Best Wishes" from a gold/beige decorator wrapping paper. Adhered to card.

Stamped the sentiment with the black and clear embossed.
