I had forgotten all about the "Let It Snow" eCut file from Suzanne... and when I was reminded about it had to finally use it. BIG GRIN. Paired it up with a gold transfer foil die cut border. Love the results.

The rubber stamp quote is by Quietfire Design  Also using eCut files from Suzanne available on the Silhouette OnLine store.

("Those We Love..."); ("Merry Christmas Plain and Simple" 7pce set); eCut: ("Let It Snow"); and the deer "Winter Wonderland")

Created an eCut file of the outside configuration of the Spellbinders Die "Holly Frame", then inverted and welded two together for my card base. Cut a single frame for the floor.

To create the frame I placed my die on my scanner, cutting edge facing up at you, copied and printed it with my laser printer (needs to be a relatively fresh cartridge for best results and clean rollers so there is no unwanted ink anywhere else...). Place the gold transfer foil (gold side facing up) onto your print out and place in your laminator's paper sleeve and run through your machine on the hot Foil setting. Remove from laminator and wait a couple seconds to let your print cool, then carefully lift gold foil off the print. Now place the die over the gold print out and run through your die cutting machine. Voila your done. (Must admit the gold foil usually does not foil completely gold, some black printing areas still show through, but I love that - gives a vintage look. The other colors of foil work really well.)

Stamped the scenic element (Memory Box "Deer in Field") using Distress pads in browns and greens. Used yellow, red, and blue sponges to create my sky and some hilly areas.

eCut the pine trees, sponged with various Distress greens ("Mowed Lawn" and  "Pine Needles") then splattered with white ink and adhered to scene.

Stamped the sentiment using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Adhered scenic layer to card front.

eCut the deer pieces from white cardstock, coloring one layer with browns and then adhering the two layers together and then onto card.

eCut the Let it snow  and a shadow layer both from white cardstock. Colored the bottom layer with a blue marker. The top layer inked with Versamark, masking off the snowflakes, and embossed with Hot Stuff "Turquoise Shimmer" embossing powder. Inked the snowflakes with the Versamark and embossed with "Silver Opal embossing powder. Adhered the two layers together and then on to card.

Added some birds in the sky with a black Zig marker.

On the floor: Embossed the floor using the eCut from above and Cuttlebug "Winter Wonderland" embossing folder, hitting the high points with Distress "Tumbled Glass". Adhered to floor.

Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Die cut using Spellbinders "Holly Frame" set moving the die to create a smaller die cut. Sponged with "Broken China" and some red. Adhered to floor, leaving a part of the top portion of the die cut unglued, Creased and folded it up to use as a stopper. Added white snowflake buttons.

Created an eCut file of the "Holly Flourish" (Elizabeth Craft Designs), cut then stamped using the black and coloring with Prisma Colored pencils. Adhered to floor and added Viva pen red dots. Final touch added the little red narrow ribbon bow.
