ID: MC Nov/15 - ECD Merry Christmas - Fancy Fold Presents - Who Says and Love Is What's card
size: 5"w x 7"h

Created: November 12, 2015

I've been in a mood to create a pop up type card for a while...

The rubber stamp quote and sentiment stamps are by Quietfire Design  and the "Merry Christmas" die from Elizabeth Craft Designs also available on Quietfire Design HERE

("Who Says it's Better..."); ("Love is What's in the Room..."); ("Tiny Christmas Wishes" 3pce set)

Cut a piece of pale pink Bazzill cardstock for the front leaving a white edge all around.

Stamped the quote onto pink cardstock using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossing. Trimmed down and punched corers with a circle punch. Hit the edges with a purple pad. Adhered to card.

Die cut the "Merry Christmas" from Decorative paper adhered to a thin cardstock. Die cut a 2nd layer from a deeper pink cardstock. Adhered the 2 layers together off set slightly. Adhered to card.

Created an eCut file for the present stamp (Flourishes "All Wrapped Up" set), stamped using Distress mini pads in pinks and blues, misted with water and stamped. Adhered to card front.

On the inside: I cut my pink cardstock to size and cut/folded as per template. Penciled in  a small dot for my cut lines onto my white card. Used Pan Pastels to swipe a horizontal line of color for each box area so it would look more like the box rather than the white card. Adhered the right side to my main white card, making sure my borders were even and the center crease butted to the center crease of my main card. Kept the pink layer folded, brought down the left side of my white card to adhere.

Cut various pieces of decorative paper the size of each box and adhered, matching edges and center creases. Added ribbon trim, bows etc...

Stamped the quote and sentiments using the Black Onyx on white cardstock, clear embossed. Trimmed down and punched with a decorative corner punch. Adhered to card.

Dashed lines for folding: V= valley fold; M= Mountain fold; Solid lines= cutting
