I got a bunch of new Quietfire Design Xmas stamps and they are so gorgeous, had a hard time deciding which to use first. BIG GRIN But then I also recently got this birch tree die and wanted to use it as well, and then my favorite deer eCut... You get the picture. ROFL.

The rubber stamp sentiment stamps are by Quietfire Design

("Merry Christmas Poinsettia" 2pce set); ("Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" 3pce set);

Side folded my pink card.

Created the background on 90# watercolor paper (smooth side) using Color Burst (Indigo, Ultramarine Blue, Violet, and a touch of Alizarin Crimson). First misting both sides of the paper, sprinkling the colors, adding more water, tilting the paper to make things run, sopping up the puddles with a paper towel, sprinkling with coarse salt and allowing to dry natural to create the snow burst  designs.

Die cut the Birch trees (Sizzix Thinlits Tim Holtz "Birch Trees") from white cardstock. Hit the die cut direct to paper with Distress pads "Old Paper" and then lightly with "Ground Espresso".

eCut the deer from white cardstock and also hit direct to paper with the Old Paper and then a some ""Gathered Twigs". added eye and snout details with a black pen. Adhered to back of birch tree die cut the on to the Color Burst background. Trimmed down to edge of die cut and adhered the blue Sari ribbon on the bottom and then to the card front.

Stamped the sentiment, positioning the words one at a time. Die cut with a Spellbinders oval die set, sponged with a dirty blue sponge, added pink diamond mini brads and then adhered to card front.

On the inside: stamped the sentiment using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Trimmed down following the contour of the sentiment. Stamped the tree with Versafine Toffee and embossed with Queen's Gold embossing powder. Stamped the snow with Versamark and embossed with Hot Stuff "Fallen Snow" embossing powder. Adhered background to inside of card and trimmed around the edges.

Cut a piece of white cardstock with the same contour as the background, inked with Versamark and embossed with the fallen snow and then adhered to card.
