If you're a quiller and anything like me, you've probably got bags of odds and ends of various colors of quill strips... I finally decided to try to use as many as possible and just glued the ends to one another to create very long strips... I recently got a "dog comb" who would have thunk to find a quilling comb in a pet store, but this one is great by Top Paw. It's 6" long and has 58 prongs. So I just kept looping my strip, removing from quill tool, folding over the loops and encasing with another quill paper.

I'm using a sentiment stamp and quote quote stamp from Quietfire Design

I side folded my white card. Adhered a piece of aqua blue textured cardstock on the diagonal and off edge. Then a strip of white Ruche cardstock. Adhered my quilled elements. Added some quilled curls and tight coil accents. Then added the rhinestone flourishes.

Adhered some off white mosaic tile bits. Stamped the "Happy Birthday" on top and bottom corners using Versafine "Blue Lagoon" and clear embossing.

On the inside: Stamped the various elements (Dylusions "Doodle Parts") using Distress mini pads and misting with water.

Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.
