Die cut the word "Believe" from 110#
white cardstock
I used Distress acrylic daubers
(Seedless Preserves, Tumbled Glass, Scattered Straw, Chipped
Sapphire & Peeled Paint), lightly brayered the colors to merge them
(ps you can still see some of the circle marks from the dauber tops
on the pulled print... so don't merge too much), lay my die cut word
- reversed (it needs to be backward) - down on the gelli plate,
pulled a print, pressing down to get the paint all over, then
removed the die cut word. (ps see pic at bottom of page - a nicely
painted die cut word as a result of the gelli printing - an added
bonus for another card...)
Used a dark blue Prisma
colored pencil to add shadow lines on the word. Then added blue dots
using Liquid Pearls "Ocean Blue"
Used a ruler to
tear/distress the edges and in some areas Tim's distressing tool.
Adhered my decorative layer on to pink textured cardstock then edge
to edge on my white card.
eCut the "ampersand" from
white cardstock and colored with the Sapphire dauber. adhered to
front.
Masked of part of the
quote and inked the rest with Versafine "Blue Lagoon", removed the
masking and stamped, then clear embossed.
Stamped the mushroom
(Chocolate Baroque "Autumn Edges") using Versafine Black Onyx.
Colored with a cream, white and brown Prisma colored pencil.
eCut the Fairy, colored
with the Sapphire dauber, dried, then applied PVA glue on the wings
and sprinkled with Stickles dry Glitter "Star Dust". Adhered to card
front. |
