I doodled the tangle onto some white
cardstock, then went over it with a .05 Copic marker. Added pencil
shading and blending with a paper stump. Trimmed it down, sponged a
bit of Distress around the edges ("Wild Honey" then some "Spun
Sugar") Hit the edges with the flat of my pad with the wild honey. The quilled
piece is done with 1/16" (narrow) quill paper and adhered to a piece
of paper to hold it together easily, then on to the card.
I calligraphed the
word "Tangle" using a Blackletter style and 6.0 Parallel pen,
scanned it and then imported it and cut with my electronic cutter.
Colored it with a black Bic marker while on the mat, removed from
mat and applied Versamark all over then clear embossed twice.
Adhered to card. Wrote the words "it up..."
Folded my wheat toned
textured cardstock at an angle (not 45º) so that I came up with a
7"w x 5"h triangle... Adhered my rectangle piece, then added the
rhinestone flourishes and the large clear faceted jewels.

Inside
On the inside stamped
the quote and birthday sentiment using Versafine Black Onyx and
clear embossed.
Stamped the edge
design (Designs By Ryn "Sea Creatures #2 sheet) using Distress mini
pads ("Broken China" & "Picked Raspberry"). misting with water prior
stamping.
