I had this urge to make a teapot... and also wanted to finally use my stacked teacup die.

I'm using one of the sentiments from the French set and the bottom half of a quote... from Quietfire Design

("Francais Set" 8pce set);  ("Find Yourself a Cup...")

I drew myself a fat round type of teapot, added a rectangle to it to use as part of the easel structure and cut with my electronic cutter. The cut the same size teapot without the rectangle for the front. Scored and folded the easel.

Sponged the teapot with a touch of Distress "Scattered Straw", then used my hard rubber mallet to selectively emboss the round part of the teapot only using Hot Off The Press "Wind & Wave" embossing folder. Hit the high points with "Rusty Hinge" and clear embossed. I then applied the rusty hinge to the handle, lid and spout and embossed with Pearlescent embossing powder twice and then with some clear.

On the floor of the easel, I stamped the bottom part of the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Made a mask from some tracing paper and then stamped the doily (Stampin Up "Hello Doily") using Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. Sponged "Old Paper" and wiped off excess with a damp paper towel. Adhered the teapot front to the easel structure.

Wrote the words "Tea & Friends" using a 3.8mm Parallel pen and Sumi ink in a Peter Taylor fun lettering style. Die cut with Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals, hit edges with the scattered straw pad and colored the "&" with Prisma colored pencils. Punched two holes, inserted peach toned eyelets and then tied the peach toned satin narrow ribbon, tying it with knots and adhering the ribbon to the back of the spout

Die cut the teacups and put some tape on the back so the small pieces wouldn't fall out. Cut off the top cup (it was too tall for my card...). Sponged the rusty hinge lightly around the edges, then very heavily on the top and bottom cups, then clear embossed. Cut a scrap piece smaller than the cup stack, adding a piece to attach to the floor and adhered to back of teacups, then adhered the added piece to the floor.

Stamped the "Bonne Fete" using the black and clear embossed. Trimmed down, then used a Spellbinders "Fancy Tag" die to cut the ends, sponged the rusty hinge around the edges and adhered to cups.

As a final touch, added the white half pearls around the teapot lid and added a larger oval pearl at the top.
