Side folded my mango cardstock.
Sponged Distress "Fossilized Amber"
all over using the eCut stencil I made, then went here and there
with "Tumbled Glass" and "Wild Honey", and a touch of "Worn
Lipstick". Clear embossed twice, using Versamark between the
embossing. Then off set the stencil and sponged with "Gathered
Twigs", wiping off the excess with a damp paper towel which left
some nice streaks... Trimmed down. Punched a circle on the right side. Adhered
some lace and yellow satin ribbon and a bow and adhered, then
adhered this decorative layer to my card front.
Stamped the "My
Friend" using Versafine Black Onyx on white cardstock and clear
embossed. Embossed using Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" embossing folder.
Cut with my EK Success circle scissor a bit smaller than the punched
out area and adhered leaving a small mango border.
Die cut the "Hello"
from white cardstock which I had colored with Distress greens direct
to paper. Applied Versamark and clear embossed, then adhered to
card.
The poppies were from
my stash and the right color...
Added a little heart
enamel sticker to the bow and some rhinestone flourishes.
On the inside: used
the stencil again with the mustard seed, then daubed with Distress
acrylic dauber Picket Fence" smushing the color with my finger.
Stamped the sentiment
using the black, clear embossed and punched out. Die cut the
scalloped circle (Spellbinders) from white cardstock and heavily
sponged with the amber. Adhered the two circles together and then
onto the card. |
Inside
Stamped the poppies
(Penny Black "Blooming Garden") using Distress minis, misting with
water and stamping, then applying a bit more color with a damp
paintbrush. Fussy cut around the stamping and adhered to card. |
