A single layer creation... and wanted to use feathers... I have a few feather stamps, but decided I wanted one that I carved out...

I'm using the quote on the front minus the flourished bird and a sentiment on the inside from Quietfire Design

("Hope is the Thing..." ); ("If You Don't Believe In Miracles" 3 pce set);

Drew an image of a feather on my clear Lino by Jack Richeson, cut around the outside edge and then carved some lines. Inked with Distress pads in blue/green or pink/blue, misted with water and stamped.

Stamped the quote, masking the top area with the flourished bird, and inked with Versafine Black onyx, clear embossed.

Ran the card through my machine using Cuttlebug Anna Griffin "Aviary". Hit the high points with "Spun Sugar".

Adhered a couple real feathers using Sookwang tape and then adhered the metal bird paper clip using a glue gun.

On the inside the reverse of the embossing folder was inked with the Spun Sugar and some blue.

The feathers are Spellbinders "Peacock Feathers" set, cut from a scrap piece of decorated painted paper, then the high points inked direct to paper with some blue or green

Stamped the sentiment with the black and clear embossed
