I recently saw an accordion style easel on Pinterest and thought I'd make one too...

I'm using a sentiment stamp and quote/design stamps from Quietfire Design and an eCut file available on the Silhouette onLine store

("Merry Christmas Plain & Simple" 6pce set); ("It's Beginning..." 4 pce set); eCut ("Winter Wonderland")

I scored and folded to create my easel, then cut another piece of white cardstock to create the accordion/floor, and another piece to layer on the front.

The front piece I embossed with Cuttlebug "Winter House" embossing folder. Sponged some Distress "Tumbled Glass" in the sky area and "Antique Linen" on the houses. Touched the roofs with an embossing pen and embossed with white embossing powder to mimic snow covered.

Applied Quickie glue to the smoke and sprinkled with Stickles dry glitter "Star Dust".

Die cut the Santa sleigh (ImpressionObsession) and colored with Distress mini pads and Prisma colored pencils. Added stripes to the sleigh. Adhered to front. Added white rhinestone stars.

Punched the moon (EK Success) from decorative scrapbok paper.

Adhered a blue ribbon to the bottom of the card wrapping it around the edges. Stamped the sentiment using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Trimmed down and rounded the corners. adhered to a red crackle scrapbook paper, then on to the ribbon. Adhered this front piece to my easel.

Covered the front of the accordions and the floor with a heavy white textured cardstock, putting a wavy line on the accordion pieces.

Die cut a bunch of Xmas trees (Sizzix Tim's Movers and Shapers "Mini Pine" die; Dee's Distinctively "Snow Covered Stacker Tree"; Taylored Expressions "Evergreens") from white cardstock and sponged with "Pine Needles" here and there, keeping white areas. adhered the smaller trees to the accordion or card front.

On the stacker tree I applied White Puff paint and activated with a heat gun to puff up. Adhered that tree to the accordion.

eCut the reindeer from white cardstock as well as a shadow/blackout layer. Sponged the top layer with the antique linen and adhered to the under layer. Colored the eyes and nose with a black marker. Adhered to accordion.

Stamped the quote suing the black. PS the pad needs to be very juicy and the stamp press hard on to the textured paper. I like the rough look it gets.

Stamped the flourished design trees on a piece of white cards and fussy cut around them, then applied Quickie glue and sprinkled with the star dust. Adhered to floor.

Adhered the little stars, part of the punched out elements.

I added a piece of mat board to the floor (hidden) to help with the stopping of the accordion/easel.
