I side folded my white
card. Adhered a piece of Bazzill monochromatic texture light pink
cardstock leaving a 1/8" border all around. Stamped the "Happy
Birthday" around the edges using Distress "Picked Raspberry".
The cone flowers are made
from 1/2" and 3/4" textured paper circles. After the cones were
shaped and glued, I hit the edge with the Raspberry, then touched
the ink with a wet paint brush to make the ink bleed and diffuse.
Adhered the cones to another smaller circle then added the large
pink rhinestone.
As I mentioned above, the
colorful flowers are die cut from alcohol decorated Yupo. The other
roses are die cut from Reader's Digest gold edged pages, I cut of
the gold edge part for the little leaves and the rest I die cut
using Die-Namics "Royal Roses" set. I then added a yellow ladybug...
The ivy (Creative
Expressions "Trailing Ivy" set) die cut from white cardstock, then
embossed, then painted with Distress acrylic Dauber "Peeled Paint"
all over, dried and hit the leaves again with a "Forest Moss" pad,
then touched here and there with dauber "Spun Sugar" and wiped
excess off with my finger.
Stamped the quote on
white cardstock using Versafine Black Onyx, clear embossed. Die cut
with Spellbinders "Scalloped Ovals" and ran thru my machine again to
emboss the edge, then sponged a bit of pink around the edges.
Adhered to front.
Die cut the butterfly
(Memory Box "Kaleidoscope BFly") from more of the Yupo. adhered it
to some text paper, fussy cut around and adhered it with a glue gun
to the card front.
On the inside, stamped
the wild roses (Magenta) inking with Distress mini pads (spun sugar,
picked raspberry, mowed lawn & black soot) misted with water and
stamped. Stamped the quote, removing the word "home" using the
Versafine black and clear embossed. Inked the heart and flourish
with the black, masking off the other side of the flourish, then
stamping and clear embossing. Applied Quickie Glue and sprinkled
with Stickles dry glitter "Thistle". |
