I absolutely love this card. I love the drama of the blue background. I love the painted gems and the texture of the Merci die cut...

And these are Elizabeth Craft Designs NEWEST "A Way With Words" dies ("Merci") designed by Suzanne Cannon

And I'm using a couple other of El's dies available on Elizabeth Craft Designs - "Circles"; "Alphabet 1 Caps";

I'm using also using a Thanks Cuddlers sentiment stamp set & the Illuminations 1 set from Quietfire Design  on the inside

("Thanks Cuddlers" 7pce set); ("Illuminations 1" 4pce set)

I scored and folded my white card.

Adhered my last piece of the Color Burst decorated 90# watercolor paper which was enhanced with Schminke Gold Powder and Coarse Kosher salt.

I raided my stash for the green die cut letters also from the color burst spree... No more of that one either...  Adhered to card and used a pointed nib and Copic Opaque White mixed 50/50 with distilled water to add a highlight line.

Die cut the Merci from white cardstock. Applied Versamark all over and embossed with Hot Stuff "Fresh Fallen Snow" embossing powder. I love the texture it creates.

Die cut the circles from white cardstock, cut away some of the connecting lines to create full circles, applied Versafine "Toffee" all over and embossed with "Queen's Gold" embossing powder. Adhered it to another piece of white cardstock which I fussy cut around the die cut. (actually used my electronic cutter but shhh!!!). Hand painted the full circles using QoR watercolor paints, painting them in a faux 3D gem look. Starting on the upper left side with deep color working toward the opposite edge to light or no color, then adding either a very dark tone or some Paynes Grey to the upper left edge for shadow. I also added some vein lines in some of the gems. Allow to dry and then accent upper area with white ink or gel pen. Allow to dry and then fill with Glossy Accents.

All the circles that aren't full circles I filled with Ranger Crackle medium and allowed to dry/crack. Colored with Prisma Premier markers (beige, brownish and some salmon)

Adhered my gem piece to the edge of my card and then fussy cut around it (yup this time I did fussy cut...)

Added the small half pearls adhering them with some Glossy Accents.

On the inside: adhered some blue Sari ribbon to the right edge which falls under the front circles.

Stamped the word "Thanks" inking my stamp with Distress "Chipped Sapphire" and embossing with a combination of clear embossing powder - just lightly sprinkled and bounced off and then some Queen's Gold also lightly and bounced off. It creates a really pretty speckled look. (detail pic below)

Stamped the "For everything" using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Created a mask of part of the "thanks" using tracing paper, then stamped the Illuminations using the black and clear embossing. Painted the inside of it with some QoR iridescent gold.
