- Bendi Card - Joyeux Noel - In A Perfect World card
Created: December 7, 2015 I'm seeing a ton of these Bendi card style showing up on Pinterest. I've resisted making one... till now. Our quilling group will be making one this week, so I figured I might as well get on the band wagon... \I'm pleased with the results, but I think I still like my easel structures more. I'm using a few of the newest stamp sets from Quietfire Design ("International Merry Christmas" 6pce set); ("In A Perfect World" 4pce set); ("Have Yourself A Merry..." 3 pce set);

I used the
Elizabeth Craft Designs dies set "Paris Edges" to cut the
top contour from white cardstock, then cut straight down to my tabs.
I spliced on some cardstock to lengthen my tabs and then made the
slits to interlock them.
Embossed another piece of white cardstock using Sheena Douglas Snowflakes embossing folder, hit the high points with Distress "Tumbled Glass" and embossed with Hot Stuff "Turquoise Shimmer" embossing powder. Cut the pieces down to fit the tabs up to the slits and a bit to the back of the card to hide the ends. Elements: Die cut Tim's Pine Trees (Bigz & Movers and Shapers dies). Hit with "Shabby Shutters" all over then some "Pine Needles" and "Forest Moss" Snowflakes border (Tim's on the edge "Snowflakes", applied Versamark and embossed with "Star Dust" embossing powder. Eiffel Tower (Spellbinders "French Frills"), hit with "Old Paper then "Pumice Stone" Stamped the "Joyeux Noel" using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Die cut using the "French Frills" set, sponged with "Barn Door" and then some "Tumbled Glass". Stamped the "In a Perfect World" using the black onyx and clear embossed. The frame section is part of the French Frills set and then I cut the quote section around the die shape and adhered the two layers together. |
Stamped the "Have Yourself..." on blue vellum using the black and clear embossed. Trimmed close to stamping. Adhered with Sookwang tape. Adhered the various elements. |
