Connections - What You Leave Behind card
Created: Aug 3, 2015 Another of those days using up my scraps and getting in to my stash pile... I'm using a couple quotes stamps and design element stamp from Quietfire Design ("I Am The Connections"); ("What You Leave Behind" ); ("Butterflies/Dragonflies" 7 pce set)

I side folded my white card and ran
through my machine using embossing folder. Sponged a bit of Distress
"Shabby Shutters" and then hit the high points lightly
with the same pad.
I pulled out a bunch of thin strips from my stash and just started weaving them randomly, then adhered it to a piece of thin cardstock. Added the strip of burlap (also sitting on my desk) and then the pearls. Adhered to card front on an angle. Stamped the quote onto white cardstock using Distress "Salty Ocean" and clear embossed. Die cut using a Spellbinders oval die set. Adhered to front. Went in to my flower stash and pulled out these small blue flowers with blue holeless bead centers. Added the butterfly also from the stash... On the inside. stamped the quote with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Created a mask from post its and stamped the background (Penny Black) inking the stamp with the Ocean and "Mowed Lawn". Stamped the butterfly (Quietfire Design) using the "Pine Needles" |
