Elizabeth Craft Designs  (ECD) has been licensed to make dies of Suzanne Cannon's (Quietfire Design ) calligraphy. I received my sample dies and couldn't wait to use them BIG GRIN. Today's card uses "Believe" (Elizabeth Craft Designs and at Quietfire Designs)

The UTEE center piece was something I haven't done in ages. One of my DT sisters sent me a video link to Fran's from Stampendous "Embossing Powder Melt Art" Such a pleasure to watch and I wanted to play...

The rubber stamp sentiments stamps are by Quietfire Design

 ("Quote Marks Friendship" 7pce set); ("Happy Birthday Plain and Simple" 7pce set);

I die cut the frame (Sizzix "Ornamental Frame") Bigz die from black/white core mat board.

Took the center piece, inked it with some Versamark and started playing. Used my electric frying pan, a craft sheet and lay my oval down and sprinkled with clear embossing powder. When melted started adding various UTEE powders using a small plastic spoon (white, pearl, gold, bronze) as well as Hot Stuff "Turquoise Shimmer" embossing powder. Also sprinkled some Ultra Effects "Silver" & Perfect FX "Essence of Pearl" flakes.

On my craft mat I also sprinkled some Fuchsia powder and some of the gold and pearl to use as bits to layer on the design after they cooled.

Used a skewer to draw some doodle marks. Added the iridescent pearls and let everything cool.

For the frame I inked it with the Versamark and embossed with "Rustique Antiqued Iron" embossing powder.

Side folded my white card and stamped the text with Heidi Swapp HS01140 stamp set (ps there are a lot of little individual stamps in the set, but I left them all on the plastic sheet that came with and used it as a background instead...) inked with Distress Pumice Stone.

Adhered a piece of white lace, then a piece of taupe satin ribbon, then the button ribbon. Adhered the frame pieces.

Stamped the word using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

On the inside: stamped the flowers only (Inkadinkado ""Flower Flourishes") using Distress mini pads ("Picked Raspberry" & touches of "Barn Door" & the leaves "Mowed Lawn") misted with water and stamped. Dried thoroughly. Inked the stamp again using "Brushed Corduroy" on the flourishes only. Lined up my stamp to match the first stamping and stamped, embossing with "Queen's Gold" embossing powder.

Die cut the word from dark brown Ruche cardstock, inked with Versamark and embossed with Hot Stuff "Burnt Copper Leaves" embossing powder.

Stamped the birthday sentiment with Versafine "Toffee" and embossed with the Queen's Gold" embossing powder.
