size:  5"w x 7"h (card closed)

I've been cutting my own quill strips lately from Canson Ingres paper white/off white and loving it, and they were laying on my desk and I was just in a mood to roll some... Then Suzanne came out with some new eCut files and I wanted to use it as an open window. So as you can gather, one thing led to another.

I'm using a sentiment stamp on the outside and quote/sentiment stamps on the inside from Quietfire Design as well as the eCut file from Suzanne available on the Silhouette onLine store.

("Happy Birthday Plain And Simple" 7pce set); ("Twirl & Enjoy"); ("Just For You" 4pce set )("The Heart Has its Reason"); eCut file "Pansy Card"

After creating my quilled coils and assembling them into flowers, I used a mini Distress pad "Shadded Lilac" and pounced on the flower, then went lightly over it with "Seedless Preserves". Added the clear rhinestone centers. I painted the quill strips for the leaves  using Distress acrylic daubers on both sides ("Mowed Lawn" & "Peeled Paint").

ecut the window piece from white cardstock. But since I wanted the window to stay part of my card I need to do some altering... I scanned the eCut and then in an imaging program, removed the outer edge. Imported it into my cutting software and positioned it on my mat where I needed it. Cut. Then dry embossed the front using Cuttlebug Anna Griffin "Climbing Rose" embossing folder. Since I had the initial eCut, I hit it with a Distress pad "Old Paper" and embossed with "Pearlescent" embossing powder, then adhered it to the window front. Scored and sized my card.

Adhered my quilled elements and the little butterfly (that was from my stash... "Joy Craft die set"). Stamped the "Happy Birthday" using Versafine Black Onyx on white cardstock, clear embossed, trimmed down  and punched the corners with a 1/4 hole punch, then sponged with some purple and adhered to front with 3D foam tape.

Since I wanted my window to be totally free of any background designs, I added more cardstock to create the tri fold. adhered a piece of very fine Mulberry white lace paper using my Xyron glue runner.

I used one of my newer stamp sets Altenew "Floral Motifs" on the inside. I had created scanned images to eCut and then stamp. Saves a lot of time if you don't have to fussy cut BIG GRIN. So I eCut a bunch, stamped using Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. Then re-stamped using the Distress pads lilac and Preserves, misting with water and stamping, then using a moist brush to move the color around. adhered to inside of card. Added some Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter "Lavender" using a Quickie glue pen on some of the centers. Added clear gel type centers on two other flowers using a Spectrum Noir purple alcohol pen to color them.

Stamped the quote, inking with the two Distress colors and clear embossing.

Added the faux stitch lines using a Tombow, fine tip side, purple marker
