Elizabeth Craft Designs  (ECD) has been licensed to make dies of Suzanne Cannon's (Quietfire Design ) calligraphy. I received my sample dies yesterday and couldn't wait to use them BIG GRIN. These dies will start being available around the end of July 2015. Today's cards use "With Sympathy"

The other dies, embossing folders, Peel offs, glitter & sticky tape, if used are all products from ECD.

Both cards use parts of each other... Both cards use the "Curly Leaves" embossing folder.

Inked the embossing folder with Distress "Shabby Shutters" & "Forest Moss", misted with water, inserted my white cardstock on the uninked side, and ran through my machine. Hit the high points, direct to paper with "Tumbled Glass". Distressed the edges using Tim's distressing tool.

Die cut the words both from the embossed piece and a separate piece of white cardstock colored with some green - when die cut, hit the top with another green. Removed the die cut piece from the embossed cardstock. Adhered a piece of double sided tape to the back and started inlaying the words cut from the green colored cardstock.

Sprinkled holeless copper beads in the negative spaces. Adhered this layer to a white cardstock then on to a light sage green cardstock.

Tied a piece of green twine around the layers, then adhered to the side folded dark green textured cardstock that was a scrap piece on my desk...

Embossed another piece of white cardstock as above. Cut the piece about 1/3 the way down and then cut the tips of the words.

Cut the words again from the light sage cardstock, trimmed down to fit my embossed cut pieces. Adhered some double sided tape to the back and started inlaying my words which were the left over pieces from the above card. Adhered this layer to a dark green side folded textured cardstock.
