Each of the DT on Quietfire was asked to do something with the "Thanks - Fill 'er Up T" stamp... I got a bit carried away as usual. I haven't decided which is my favorite yet.

The card above I stamped the Thanks on Arches 90# HP watercolor paper using Versamark and embossed with Queen's Gold embossing powder. Then applied my gilding adhesive, allowed it to become tacky dry and adhered my gold leaf (see note below). Used a postal envelope ( for storing stamps) and my finger nail to burnish the leaf before removing the excess with a piece of silk material. Used a very fine balled stylus and a piece of plastic (wrapping from packages) to draw in my doodling design.

(PS if your adhesive is still wet when you apply the gold leaf you will have an unholy mess... and if it's too dry, the leaf won't stick. You can try "huffing" with your breath to warm up the adhesive. If your leaf will still not adhere, then reapply the adhesive and pay better attention...)

Scored and side folded my white card, then adhered a piece of white Ruche cardstock edge to edge.

Die cut the thanks using Spellbinders "Fleur de Lis Square" set. Used the die cut to create an image to cut with my electronic cutter and cut a shadow layer. Sponged Distress "Old Paper" on the shadow layer and then adhered the two layers together. Adhered to card.

Tied a triple peg bow from my favorite Sari ribbon. Adhered to card with hot glue. Inserted a pearl headed pin and put a glob of hot glue on the point. Hot glued the amber jewel.

The card above and the card at left were both done on Full Spectrum Black cardstock, stamped with Versamark and either embossed with Queen's Gold or White embossing powder. Both were gilded as described on the previous card and tooled. Both die cut with Spellbinders "Labels 21" set. Cards were embossed with Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" then the die cuts adhered.

Accents of gold pearls or white pearls and flourish were added.

I stamped the thanks on the Arches WC paper and embossed with white embossing powder. Masked the "T" using Winsor & Newton Liquid Masking Fluid and allowed that to dry.

Used a 1" flat brush and applied a lot of water, then applied my artist quality paint. Let that dry naturally. (in real life some of the color landed in the crevices of the embossed letters which I really like and is not that visible in the pic). Removed the masking

I used a pencil to shadow all the letters. Then doodled in my "T".

Die cut with Spellbinders "Blossom 3" set. Created a scanned image and cut with my electronic cutter in a card structure by welding two images together (one of which was flipped first - BIG GRIN)
