I picked up this corrugated cardstock the other day as a novelty item... It's 1/2"  which is waaaay too wide for my type of quiling, so I cut the strip down the middle and then cut down the middle again giving me 1/8" w strips...  I love Chinese Lantern, but stamp images of them are few and far between and the ones I have seen just don't have enough umph for me. So I was looking for images online and came across these filigree  ones - they're on their last leg... perfect - used them as my inspiration

I'm using quote & sentiment stamps (Keep Your Faith...) (Happy Birthday Plain & Simple), (Friends set) from Quietfire Design

I side folded my cream toned card and layered it with mango toned cardstock then dark brown cardstock, using my layering ruler to cut the 1/16" border.

Adhered my quilled elements using  the plain orange to make the berries and the corrugated to make the textural pieces. PS I painted the yellow corrugated  cardstock using Distress Acrylic Daubers "Antique Linen" to get a soft creamy color.

Die cut the leaves (Cottage Cutz) from some decorated green paper in my stash. Adhered to card. Adhered a couple yellow floral shaped buttons.

Tied gold variegated Sari ribbon on the bottom adding a gold metallic piece of twine , then added the bow.

Stamped the quote onto another piece of brown cardstock using Versafine Toffee and embossed with white embossing powder. Trimmed close to the stamping, then layered onto the mango cardstock and cut with the layering ruler. Added four orange mini brads.

Adhered both layers, off setting the quote piece.

On the inside stamped the bird design (Indigo Blue) using Versafine Black Onyx. Colored with Prisma colored pencils

Stamped the sentiments using the Toffee and embossed with Paprika embossing powder. Sponged some red around the edges.
