Whenever I see something I'm interested in, I usually do something with it IMMEDIATELY... I don't usually put it off ... "till one day"... and I guess this was no exception. I've been doing two toned quilled elements for a while, but this time they are done on a standard quill comb. You can see the two toned cascading loop flower tutorial here by Noor Azlina Abdhul Samad K.

I'm using a quote stamp and couple sentiment stamps from Quietfire Design

("Friendship Quote Marks" 7 pce set), ("Happy Birthday Plain & Simple" 7 pce set) ("Friends" 4 pce set)

I scored and folded my white cardstock, adding pieces of a brown textured cardstock for my easel structure (unseen)

Layered the same brown on the front leaving a scant 1/16" border all around.

Punched the center piece (Martha Stewart Punch all Over "Caning Pattern") from white cardstock. Applied Versamark all over and embossed with Pearlescent embossing powder, then rubbed my finger over it with Rub n Buff copper, wiping off the excess. Stamped the underlayer (La Blanche "Wild Flowers") using Distress mini pads in appropriate colors, misting with water and stamping on white cardstock, leaving my stamp a few seconds to activate. Trimmed down and adhered with 3D tape to punched layer, then adhered to card front.

Stamped the words around the top by first cutting the quote apart and placing them on a large acrylic block, inking with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossing. (ps when done, I taped the quote back together so I wouldn't loose the pieces BIG GRIN). Stamped the rest of the quote on anther piece of whtie cardstock and punched it out using a Fiskars scallop circle Squeeze punch. Sponged some red around the edges. Adhered to card.

Adhered my quilled elements. Plus the Arianna bloom (it was laying on my desk and wanted to be used...) Added a large amber rhinestone in the center.

On the inside: Adhered a piece of textured greenish cardstock (from my stash!!!). Stamped with the floral background (Penny Black "Glory of Modesty") using Versamark and embossing with the Pearlescent embossing powder. Sponged around the edges with Distress "Crushed Olive" and around the flowers with "Dried Marmalade".

Die cut the bird (Dee's Distinctively "Chickadee") and colored with Distress pads, then touched here and there with Wink of Stella iridescent brushes. Added a small tab on the back of the bird and then adhered to floor to act as part of my stopper.

Stamped the sentiments on white cardstock using the black and clear embossed. Trimmed it down to a long rectangle. Punched the rectangle using a corner punch (Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page "Wild Flowers" large punch), colored the edges with a dirty yellow and red sponge. Adhered to floor with 3D tape and added various colors of rhinestones.
