I've been making a few styles of Gate fold cards lately... I was really in a mood to do an involved scenic one.

I'm using two Xmas quotes from Quietfire Design

("Christmas Waves a Magic Wand" ); ("Let It Snow" small)

I cut, scored and folded my white cardstock.

I embossed the snowflake backgrounds using Sheena Douglas embossing folder, applying Distress "Tumbled Glass" all over the solid part of the folder, then swiping over the area with "Salty Ocean", misting lightly with water, placing my white cardstock on the un-inked side and closing the folder, then running through my machine. Trimmed down and adhered to front and inside.

Die cut the snow border on top (Sizzix Tim's "Snow Flurries"), coloring with the Distress pads, applying glue to the snowflake area and sprinkling with Glitter (Stampendous "Crystal Snow"), trimming down to fit, and adhering to each little section.

Die cut the pine trees (Sizzix Tim's "Tree Line") and again coloring with Distress and trimming down. applied "Puffy Velvet" marker in white & heat activated. Cut another one to put on the inside main panel.

Die cut Tim's Reindeer, sponged with "Old Paper" and then with "Brushed Corduroy". Added an eye to each and adhered to card.

Stamped the house scene (Old Island) with Versafine Black Onyx.

Stamped the inside quote on white cardstock using the black and clear embossed. Die cut with Spellbinders "Romantic Rectangles". Sponged some blue around the edges and hit the side edges with the Salty Ocean pad.

Stamped the "Let it Snow" using Versafine "Blue Lagoon" several times.
