I came across this woven spine in my internet travels... The one I saw was done in portrait mode, and after making one like that, I thought to myself this would make a great easel type card... Stay tuned for the eCut file to make this structure coming November 10, 2014

I'm using several quote/sentiment & design stamps from Quietfire Design ("If You Don't Believe in Miracles" 3pce set); ("Christmas Cuddlers" 9pce set); ("Textured Holiday" 9 pce word set);

the words "in the" and "of" are cut from other Quietfire Design quote stamps. Then I just tape them back in not to loose the little pieces...

I ecut, colored, embossed, scored and folded my white cardstock.

After eCutting I hit the inside part of the eCut with Distress "Seedless Preserves" then embossed with the snowflakes from Cuttlebug Winter Borders set, moving the folder several times to do the whole area. Hit the high points with "Picked Raspberry". On the other side I hit it with "Tumbled Glass" then with "Spun Sugar". Scored down the middle and folded the cuts & card. Scored again to make the easel part which will be covered with another piece of cardstock further down.

Cut another piece of white cardstock, slightly smaller than than my front section, embossed it with Crafts Too embossing Folder "Holly". Sponged around the edges with the Tumbled Glass & the Raspberry. Hit the edge with the raspberry pad, dried and adhered to front of card.

Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Die cut several sized circles (Spellbinders) from watercolor paper. stamped the medium one with Versamark and the snowflake and clear embossed. Painted with light blue. The largest ball was painted in stripes of purples & pinks. Stamped the flourish star on another piece of cardstock, embossed with silver embossing powder and die cut with a small oval die (Spellbinders) and adhered to ornament. The smallest ball was embossed with a snowflake embossing folder, high points hit with Preserves.

Inside

Cut a piece of cardstock, inked with Versamark and embossed with silver embossing powder, then cut into small pieces to use as the hanger section. Applied glossy accents to the two smaller ornaments and on the oval piece of the larger one. when dry adhered to card.

Floor: Cut a piece of white cardstock and embossed with Sizzix "Snowflake" embossing folder, moving the folder as needed. Sponged some blue and pink around edges, adhered to floor and cut off excess. Randomly hit the snowflake with a Quickie glue pen and sprinkled with Stickles "Diamond" glitter.

Stamped the various words using the black, clear embossing and die cutting with an oval die (Spellbinders) sponging the edges with blue. Adhered to floor with 3D foam tape. Tied a blue/pink variegated Sari ribbon bow and adhered with hot glue.

As a final touch created strings of mini rhinestones or pearls on very thin strips of white cardstock for the hangers.
