I think this is the perfect card style for this bird image...

I'm also using a couple stamps from Quietfire Design

I scored my white card... and since I scored in the wrong place, had to cut off the covers and replace them with my lavender Bazzill Monochromatic cardstock, scored in the right place...

I die cut the bird (Dee's Distinctively) and sponged with various Distress colors ("Mustard Seed", "Picked Raspberry" & "Salty Ocean") then assembled and adhered the pieces and on to the card.

I die cut the floral elements (Dee's Distinctively), sponged heavily with the Raspberry and embossed with Inkadinkado Hot Pink" embossing powder. The flourish is from my stash (Marianne Designs) and just sponged with a dirty green sponge and hit with some brown.

Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx & clear embossed pen.

Cut a piece of lavender marbled scrapbook paper, and punched (Martha Stewart "Swirling Lace") a decorative edge on both sides, then adhered to inside of card.

I had some drop out pieces from my previous card on my desk, so used those to stamp the quote on the smaller one using the black and clear embossing, sponged a bit of "Dusty Concord" around the edges. Used the Concord all over on the larger layer.
