size: 7"w x 5"h (Easel closed)

I liked making the last side easel so much, wanted to make another one... Big Grin. and I just watched a video by Jennifer McGuire  - watercolor painting and die cutting.

I'm also using a  quote & sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design

I used 90# Arches hot press watercolor paper. Sponged Distress blues (Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire & Broken China) all over then misted heavily with water to get the colors moving, mushed it around a bit with my finger, dried with a heat gun. Die cut the flower branch (Memory Box "Lavish Branch") and colored with Distress markers, misting with water and drying. I set this branch aside.

Die cut another branch from an unpainted piece of the watercolor paper and colored it the same way. It gave it a softer look. The next thing Jennifer did was put a bunch of tape (I used my ATG tape) on a piece of cardstock, pressed down the blue painted piece and then inserted the die cut piece like a puzzle. No raised edges this way.

I cut the first branch piece at the join and used half on the front and a piece on the floor.

Stamped the birds (Penny Black "Enjoy Life" set) with Versafine Black Onyx and colored with Prisma colored pencils. Cut two more branches colored with the markers and cut the flowers off to glue on to my stamped image.

Stamped the quote with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.

adhered a piece of white Ruche cardstock to the floor, adhered that piece of branch. Stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and die cut with Spellbinders "Fancy Tags Two" and sponged some blue around the edges. Adhered to floor with 3D tape.

As a final touch added purple or clear rhinestones to the flower centers.
