After making the poppy... everything else comes out of my stash...

I'm using an eCut on the front and a Birthday sentiment on the inside from Quietfire Design

I saw the poppy stamen on line and liked that it had so many stamen... so created one of my own and eCut in 2 sizes from white cardstock. Painted with Distress acrylic Dauber Mustard Seed", let dry then put some white glue on the tips and press them down into some yellow flower soft. Adhered the two together. The black center are 3 pieces of quill strips glued together, then coiled, turned over and adhered to center.

The petals are cut from a coffee filter which was colored with Distress pads, misted with water on a craft mat. Dried, then sprayed with Perfect Pearls. Dried. Tooled with a large balled stylus and adhered to a punched out circle, then the stamen assembly adhered.

I embossed another piece of white cardstock using Cuttlebug "Distressed Stripes", hitting the high points with Distress "Pumice Stone" then "Gathered Twigs". Adhered to card front.

The scraps... Adhered the green Sari ribbon, then the 2 negative border die cut pieces.

Adhered the poppy, then  more scraps: the Leafy Branch. Colored the parrot (Starving Artistamps "Macaw" which was eCut and stamped) using colored pencils. Added some Quickie Glue and sprinkled with Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter "Warm Highlights" on the wings and tail feathers. Adhered a couple small Philodendron leaves (Dee's Distinctively").

The word sing was also a previously eCut word, colored black and I added Glossy Accents, then adhered to card with black 3D foam squares.

On the inside, printed out the musical scale, wrote in my words "and the world sings with you" using a 2.4 Parallel Pen and Sumi ink in a funky style. Fussy cut around the notes then adhered to inside of card. Stamped the sentiment (Quietfire Design) using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Added Epoxy sticker circles to the notes.
