I recently saw a tropical leaf background stencil  and said to myself "ah ha!!" and decided to create one for myself, then eCut it.

I'm using a sentiment & quote stamp from Quietfire Design

I eCut the background from white cardstock and sponged Distress ("Mustard Seed", "Wild Honey", "Shabby Shutters", "Forest Moss", & "Mowed Lawn") all over. Then I eCut another background piece but this time cutting solid leaves. Applied Versamark all over and embossed with sticky embossing powder, adhered the two background pieces together, then added Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter "Sweet Basil", then adhered the completed background to the easel card front.

I eCut a silhouette image I created of the macaw stamp, then stamped the image with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Colored with watercolors.

Stamp0ed the sentiment with the black, clear embossed and die cut with Spellbinders oval die set. Sponged some wild honey around the edges and adhered to card front adding three mini yellow half pearls.

Embossed the floor using Couture Creations "Ambrosia" embossing folder, hit the high points with the Distress pads from above.

Colored some cardstock with the above colors from the background and die cut the tropical leaves (Dee's Distinctively "Philodendron"). Adhered the bottom part of each leaf to the floor creating my stopper.
