I've been doing a lot of gelli printing lately and as a result had a bunch of what I call "rejects"... The best way to use them up is die cut them for fringing and flowers...

I'm also using a  quote stamp from Quietfire Design part of it on the outside and the rest inside...

I used a rust colored cardstock for my base (I know it's not white this time...), scored at the 4" mark and then at the 9" mark leaving a flap on the right side of 2".

Layered a dark blue Ruche cardstock on to a bright yellow Bazzill monochromatic textured cardstock then on to the card front.

Used the Memory Box "Fringe Border" die and cut from my Gelli Printed Decorative papers I then cut each of the fringe pieces in half to get a finer fringe. Tightly coiled it.

Used the Memory Box "Lovely Asters" smallest die and cut 3 layers for each flower, sculpted them with a large balled stylus on a thick piece of fun foam, then assembled.

The background lattice piece is a take on Dee's Distinctively's Lattice die. I drew my own lattice with a black marker and then added large dots to it, made it more retro... then cut it out with my Silhouette electronic cutter from white cardstock. Inked it up with Versafine Toffee and embossed with a combination of Distress "Aged Mahogany" & "Vintage Photo". Adhered to card and adhered my floral elements adding a small half pearl on each of the yellow daisy type flowers.

Layered a yellow piece on the flap. Stamped part of the quote on some cream toned cardstock using Versafine "Blue Lagoon" and clear embossing, trimmed down and then layered on to the blue and yellow and adhered to card with the two vintage brads. It acts as  the holder to keep the card closed.

On the inside back of the flap I adhered a piece of glittered maple leaf rust colored gauze ribbon (love that ribbon).

On the inside, I adhered the rest of the quote, first stamping on the cream toned cardstock, layering it on to the blue and yellow cardstock which I die cut with my newest acquisition, Spellbinders "Pearl Effects" set. The Yellow layer was cut smaller than the die selectively cutting off the edge technique. All this was layered on to the gold parchment paper.
