I was in a mood to make scenic Xmas cards...

I'm also using Christmas  sentiment and quote stamps from Quietfire Design

both cards start off the same, side folded white cardstock. Hand cut a large holly leaf and use both the negative and the positive of it. I place my stencil part in the position I want and then stamp the scene. I then place the mask over the scene and stamp the holly branch/berry image. Both cards have the holly leaf outlined with a black Micron pen.

The scene (Stampendous "Snowy Postcard") was stamped with Versafine "Smoky Grey", sponged with some Distress Broken China and colored with colored pencils adding white Copic ink to the roofs.

Holly berry (The Artful Stamper "Large Holly") stamped with Versafine Black Onyx, colored with colored pencils and Viva red Pearl Pen added to the large berries, and red Stickles to the little berries.

Stamped the sentiment with the black.

The scene (Stampendous "Forest Cottage Scene") was stamped with Versafine "Black Onyx" and clear embossed, sponged with some Distress Broken China and colored with colored pencils.

Holly berry (The Artful Stamper "Large Holly") stamped with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed, colored with colored pencils and added red Stickles to the little berries.

Stamped the sentiment with the black clear embossed.

Inside of card stamped the rest of the quote stamp. Used the stencil to create one of the holly leaves around the stamping, then added a couple more. Colored them in.
