MC May/13 - Circle Gate - Never
Give Up card
Created: May 17, 2013 I was really in a mood to use the triangle die from Spellbinders "Gold Elements 1" set, plus I wanted to do a different shape for a change...
I'm also using a Companion stamp
set from

I cut my large 6" circle using an EK Success Circle Scissor from white cardstock. Scored at 1" on either side for my flaps. Die cut my triangles (4 of them) from white cardstock and smooshed them through Distress paints on my craft sheet using Tarnished Brass & Spun Sugar and misting with water. Die cut two pieces of pale pink vellum and adhered to the backs of two of the triangles using Sookwang tape, then adhered it to my card flap. Placed one of the triangles on the back extension and trimmed it down to the card fold, then adhered it to the overhang triangle. Did the same on the opposite side. Used the balance of these triangles on the inside, trimming where necessary. (See back view at right) Trimmed a piece of white Ruche paper to fit my inside panel to the fold lines. Stamped the quote onto a scrap piece of floral paper using Versafine Vintage Sepia and touching with a Black Onyx pad, then clear embossing, die cut with a Spellbinders circle die. (See inside pic below). Stamped the companion sentiment with the same pads, clear embossed on a pink toned Bazzill Monochromatic cardstock, then die cut with Spellbinders "Fancy Tags" die. Adhered to card and I added a couple loops to hold the card closed. (See detail pic at right). Added some white half pearls.
