I was in a coloring mood so stamped this Inkadinkado Jumbo Tulip onto my side folded white card, clear embossed and colored with Derwent Inktense and Derwent regular watercolor pencils....

On the inside I'm using the Birthday stamp from the "Happy Family" set and the "I Love You - heart" from the Valentine's Day - Love 2013 set from Quietfire Design

After the watercolor dried, I applied some Crystal Lacquer and smeared it with my finger, then sprinkled Distress Fine glitter (Star Dust).

Cut the flower to the edges of the card. Cut slits on either side of the stem to attach my big yellow bow. This card just cried out Spring... but since Suzanne hasn't made any spring stamps yet (hint hint) I had to write my own sentiment using a black Zig Calligraphy Writer in my Funky Neuland style.

On the inside I die cut a Spellbinders heart from some of the excess backgrounds I made, with the Kasbah stencil, to cover the slits. Stamped it with the Heart I Love You stamp in Versafine Black Onyx.

Stamped the Happy Birthday with the black as well, but thought the inside was a little plain so embossed the bird/leafy branches (Sizzix "Birds, Flowers, Branches" set). Sponged lightly with Broken China and Picked Raspberry.
