I've heard about this embossing wax resist a few times and finally got around to trying it. I like the effect and it has potential...

I'm using one of the 10 Tiny Sentiment stamps from Quietfire Design

So I ran a piece of waxed paper through my machine using the cuttlebug "Musical Flourish" embossing folder. Then I sandwiched the waxed paper between two pieces of cream toned cardstock and ran through my machine again, which transferred the wax design to the cardstock. Sponged Distress Mustard Seed all over and wiped off excess with a damp tissue. Then sponged Vintage Photo lightly all over which picked up the design.

Die cut the oval frame (Marianne Designs), then direct to paper with a Versafine Vintage Sepia pad and embossed with brown embossing powder. Adhered to card

Die cut one of my newest leafy dies (Memory Box "Fresh Foliage) from cream cardstock and adhered to card.

Quilled my elements, double layering the main flower and adhered to card.

Stamped the sentiment onto a drop out piece from my Memory Box "Gothic Luminary" die using the brown and clear embossed. Sponged a touch of Dried marigold and adhered to card adding a large half pearl.

As a final touch added the butterfly from my stash and added glitter vein details on the leaves using a Quickie Glue pen and Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter "Warm Highlights.
