At my last quilling session, someone showed us a beautiful Lattice Swirl die and I knew I wanted one... but until I get an actual die, I will make my own version with things I have on hand... And as it turns out, I don't really need the die.

I'm also using a quote stamp from Quietfire Design

I side folded my white card.

I used Spellbinder's "Majestic Elements" largest die on white cardstock. The outside left over piece was sitting on my desk, So trimmed it down, applied black stamp pad ink all over and clear embossed a couple times. Cut out a chipboard frame just shy of the die cut piece and then adhered them together.  This gave me a nice raised frame for my quill details.

I traced the swirl design with a marker and then imported it into my electronic cutting software. Cut various sizes from white cardstock and used the large one and a medium sized one for this card. again colored with black stamp pad and clear embossed.

Die cut the large lattice piece (Spellbinders's "Expandable Basic Lattic") and the small lattice piece (Memory Box "Levington Border"). For the small piece, the border was too narrow, so needed to use an off the edge cutting technique, cutting twice to create a wider border. Adhered my swirl designs and then trimmed around the design to remove the excess lattice pieces.

Stamped the quote on a pearlized white wrapping paper (Paper Roots), with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed, trimmed and adhered to fit card. Adhered the frame piece, then adhered my lattice swirl pieces.

For the flowers I embossed a piece of heavy weight paper with Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" then sponged  with Distress "Picked Raspberry" and die cut with Cheery Lynn "Cuties 1". Did a tight coil, then attached the petal strip. Sponged a bit more of the Raspberry on the edges and adhered to card, adding a pink half pearl.

I had some leftover colored paper, so punched out the Martha Stewart "Monarch Large" butterfly. Inked it up with Perfect Mediume, embossed with "Stamp n Bond" heat activated, sprinkled with Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter "Warm Highlights" and reactivated to set. Colored the body with a black marker and adhered to card.
