I mentioned a few days ago I was playing with a technique an online friend showcased... and said mine were still works in progress, well here is the first one. Love the way it turned out.

I'm also using one of newest Thank You stamps from Quietfire Design

I side folded a white square card and embossed the front with Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots".

I taped down my Dreamweaver stencil Grid LG609 onto white cardstock and smeared with Translucent paste using the LM2010 spreader. Removed my stencil and dunked it in some water to wash later. Misted my wet paste with Distress Stains that I had transferred into mini misters ("Mustard Seed", "Picked Raspberry", "Peacock Feathers", "Salty Ocean"). Then sprinkled some Distress Rock Candy Glitter here and there. Set it aside to dry. When dry I decided to cut the squares apart and re-adhere it to another piece of white cardstock with larger channels between the squares.

Stamped the sentiment onto a piece of clear Graffix Dura-Lar plastic with Staz-On Black, trimmed to fit my square piece, edged it with a Krylon Gold Leafing pen and attached it with tiny gold brads. Then adhered those layers to my card front.

The flower was the result of some flowers I made the day before using Spellbinders "Blossom Baubles 1". This time, I cut the petals away from the border piece and adhered them individually to create the blossom. I started with heavy weight paper, embossed with the Swiss Dots folder, sponged with the Raspberry and then die cut. Quilled a tight coil center and adhered that to about a 3/4" circle, then adhered the petals which I tooled on a piece of fun foam. At the end I added a circle of brown glitter and added the half pearl.

The leaf sprig (Cottage Cutz "Acorn Leaf Vine") was from my stash which I had die cut when I first got this die...
