Another good quilling session, this time with the 2nd group of ladies... 

I had demoed ironing napkins with Saran Cling Wrap at my last quilling class and the napkin I used was of cosmos, so had to somehow use it. It's an in your face type of napkin so placing the cosmos on top of the napkin wouldn't work, they'd get lost, then I thought of making a frame with it, but it had to be a wide frame not to loss the cosmos..

So I made a bunch of them, but then I needed leaves for them. I remembered they were really feathery, but how to translate that into something quilled... I am totally happy with the results. BIG GRIN.

I'm also using a quote  from Quietfire Design

I adhered the napkin cardstock to my white card front then cut it for a frame.

Stamped the quote using Versafine Satin Red and touching here and there with Olympian Green. Adhered my quilled elements.

The fringe centers are die cut (Quilled Creations) from hand decorated arches Text Wove paper that I also demoed at the quilling class.

The feathery leaves are from all misc greens and decorated papers on my desk, spliced together randomly.
