size: 4.25"w x 5.5"h

I've made a lot of rolled flowers, but never from coffee filters, so I decided to try that today...

I'm also using a sentiment  and quote from Quietfire Design

I love the variegation in the leaves. I used Dylusions ink sprays (Sunshine Yellow, Fresh Lime, Dirty Martini, & Vibrant Turquoise) misting with water and tilting and moving the wet inks on Arches Text Wove paper. I blotted some areas, leaving other wetter and dried with a heat gun. Hand cut my strips.

The Orange flower was made on a quilling comb, but instead of going on every prong, I skipped a prong each time, giving me a larger hole and more space between the seed pods. So I added the quilled pieces.

I absolutely love Ruche cardstock (sorry not available anymore...). I die cut my oval (Spellbinders Classic Ovals) in the Ruche cardstock, adhered it to my dark green cardstock and die cut with another oval die. Adhered both layers to my white card front. Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Vintage sepia.

Adhered my quilled elements following the contour of the oval.

I inked up a craft mat with Distress pads (Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry & Seedless Preserves) misted with water and smooshed my coffee filter through it. Dried, then die cut with a Marianne Designs die. I used two die cuts for each rose type flower.

Die cut the other flower (Memory Box "Petal Party") from the scraps. Layered them together, scrunched them up and added a large white half pearl.

The rose on the right is one I made ages ago and just thought I'd use...

The cherry blossom flowers were quilled at a previous quilling session.

I die cut the edge of my card with Spellbinders "A2 Curved Borders 1". Cut my green Ruche cardstock following the contour and adhered to card front. Adhered my floral elements adding the combed leaves.

Stamped my sentiment onto a piece of dark green gauze ribbon and embossed with Queen's gold embossing powder, then adhered to card.

Adhered the lace to the inside edge and added white dots with Liquid Pearls.

On the inside I adhered another piece of gauze ribbon to the right edge.

Stamped the quote with Versafine Olympian Green and touched with Black Onyx, clear embossed
