I love this EK Success "Scroll Pattern" punch. I think it's the nicest punch I have and so versatile...

I'm using a couple of stamps from Quietfire Design - "Keep Your Faith" and "Never Give Up".

I started with a strip of scrap cardstock approx 2.5" x 7". Placed one end even with the edge of the punch, punched the design. This will be my reference guide for all other punching.

I cut white cardstock 7.75"w x 8"h. Scored my mid point and folded. Punching is done on the folded card so all patterns match. Using my guide, I  positioned my punch to give me the same size small edge at the fold line, and punched.

Again with the guide, positioned the punch to get that little edge on the side, punched. You should have part of the design where the punched elements meet. Trim away with an x-acto knife. Match the punch elements as per the punch instructions, and punch. Flip card over so you will get a reverse punch out. Use guide to just meet the previous punched element (it will create a heart.). Again with the guide and still on the flip side, punch the last side area.

Carefully score at the half way point on the front part of the easel and fold.

Mask off the center of the square with tracing paper and removable tape, leaving the same width of edging around the punched elements. Sponge Versafine Vintage Sepia all over and emboss with Judikins "Rustique Tin Can" embossing powder. Remove masking and use to mask the other side. Repeat the inking and embossing, but this time heat set holding the piece in the air so it doesn't stick to anything. Remove masking.

Cut a piece of white cardstock the width between your embossed areas, and the height of your card folded (approx 5 3/10 x 4"). Stamp the quote with Versafine Toffee and hit some areas with Spanish Moss, stamp and clear emboss. Sponge with Distress Scattered Straw & Dried Marigold all over, and a touch of Crushed Olive and Vintage Photo around the extreme edges. Adhere to easel front.

Creating the leaves: squeeze out Distress Stains onto a craft mat (Mustard Seed, Worn Lipstick, Salty ocean, Vintage Photo). Dip a paint brush into the wetness and flick all over onto a piece of white cardstock. Spritz some water into your hand and flick onto the spattered areas, dry. Leave lots of white.

The brownish leaves are sponged Distress pads (Scattered Straw, Crushed Olive, Dried Marigold) spattered and misted with water and dried.

Both backgrounds were die cut with Impression Obsession "Fall Leaves" die set. Adhered in a pleasing arrangement to front. Added a gold Peel Off line.

Floor of easel is the brown background piece but some Distress Stains spattered onto it. Cut to fit the area. Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Vintage Sepia and clear embossed. Adhered to floor. Adhered half of the large leaf as a stopper , scoring and folding it

Die cut the ladybug (Elizabeth Craft Designs "Ladybug" set) from some scrap red and black cardstock.
