I love the expandable cutting plates by Spellbinders. I did this piece when I got the die plate, but never got around to making a card with it. Just wanted to play with the die...

I'm using one of the 10 tiny sentiment stamps from Quietfire Design

I die cut the piece on white cardstock, then painted and pounced it with various colors of acrylic paint (copper, aqua, gold, bronze).

I die cut it again on black cardstock. Then adhered the two layers, offsetting them. Then adhered it to my side folded white card front.

Die cut it again from black, and cut apart the butterfly area, inking it with Perfect Medium and embossing with Twilight (a bluish/ blackish sparkly embossing powder). Adhered to card only on the body section.

Adhered a burgundy picot edged ribbon. Stamped the sentiment on another piece of cardstock, cut it down, hit the edges with a dirty purple sponge and adhered to card adding the large iridescent rhinestone.
