size: 5.5 x 4.25"h each

Modified:

Thought I'd make a few more quilled cards for show and share for our next quilling session... Some of these quilled petals were made at my last session and finally getting to use them.

I'm also using  a word from  the Xmas Texture word set from Quietfire Design

I Created an embossing diffuser using Spellbinders Label 18 die and mat board. Ran through my machine using Cuttlebug "Circle & Dots" embossing folder, and because I was using the diffuser, it only embossed around the edges.

I then used the die and a tan mat to emboss the Label design into my card front. I die cut another Labels #18 from cardstock to use as a stencil and sponged some Distress Frayed Burlap around the edges of the label design.

Adhered a piece of red twisted ribbon ( I think I got from Reasonable Ribbons) to act like a stem for my flowers.

Used normal white quilling paper, ran through my gadget to edge it with red, using a Zig Writer, then used a quilling comb to create the larger petals. I surrounded each of those petals with a red thin quill strip cut with my pasta machine on the linguini setting. I like the candy cane stripe effect it gives.

The bud type petals were also edged in red, loose coils and then fold in half, which pushes the coil design around the edges. Added large white half pearls.

Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black onyx.
