I wanted to do a positive negative from punches or dies for a challenge, and this is what I came up with. I'm using the Cuttlebug "Daisy" quilling kit die set.

I'm also using a sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design

I'm using strips of white cardstock which I've sponged with Distress Broken China and then run through with the Cuttlebug die using the smallest petals die. If you leave a space between those circles, you'd see right away the drop out piece.

I lay a piece of Sookwang tape down on a purple/blue toned paper, then lay 3 of the negative strips on it, sprinkled with Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter "Blue Teal" and burnished well.

The top flower, I coiled a white strip, then added a green strip, then started coiling the petal die cut. I punched out an EK Success Retro Flower, then die cut a couple of sizes from the Heart Felt Creations set both from sponged white cardstock, then sponged more for details. Shaped the petals around a pencil to make them stand up a bit. Added the large teal rhinestone.

The bottom flower, the petal die shape was lightly coiled, another strip added then one of the punched out retro flowers. I scanned the punch out and resized 3 more and cut with my electronic cutter. Adhered them together and added blue stickle on the petal edges.

Sponged green onto another scrap piece of cardstock and die cut with Spellbinders "Floral Flourishes" set, sponging more green for accents.

Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Toffee and white embossed.
