My friend brought over a Marianne Design "Pine Tree" which I thought was a really pretty die, so cut a few...

I'm using Xmas quote stamps for both cards from Quietfire Design

On the card above I side folded a cream toned card, embossed with Cuttlebug folder from the "Winter Frolic" set, put a dab of glue on each of the dots and sprinkled with "Crystal Snow" glitter. on the three largest snowflakes I applied Stickles Rock Candy. (Doesn't show up that well in the pic - c'est la vie).

Sponged Distress Forest moss, Pine Needles & Gathered Twigs on the die cut trees. Adhered to card front, one directly to card the other with 3D foam. applied white Puff paint to mimic the snow. Stamped the quote with Versafine Black onyx.

On the card at right I used the negative from the die cuts to sponge trees direct to paper. Also used a cut piece of cardstock to sponge the hills with some Tumbled Glass. Stamped the quote with the Pine Needles. Adhered one of the die cuts directly to card. The other one I wrapped in gold thread, added various colored half pearls and a rhinestone star and adhered to card with 3 D foam tape. Punched out some small snowflakes from adhesive backed silver glitter paper and used a border bunch that had small snowflakes in the design. As a final touch added the white Puff paint along the base of the trees.
