I picked up this Chiyogami paper last week and just love the colors... Made some quilled roses the other day with it and now these Cuttlebug die flowers.

I'm using one of the newest quote stamps from Quietfire Design   it's such a nice way of saying you're my friend.

I side folded my white card, layered a piece of textured cream toned wrapping paper (from my Paper Roots stash). Embossed (Cuttlebug "Heritage" set) a design onto cream toned cardstock, embossing the upper half, turning my cardstock around, embossing the lower half, and then using my rubber mallet to join the two halves. Layered it onto my card.

Die cut (Cuttlebug "Daisy" 4 pce die set) the floral elements from various pieces of Chiyogami papers, and the fringe center piece (Quilled Creations "Fringed Mum" die) from pearlized wide red quilling paper. Quilled the flowers, adhered them to a small circle punch out and then onto my card.

The vase was hand cut. I folded a piece of cardstock in half, drew a rough design of half my vase and cut it out, then used it as my template to cut my good paper.

Added some medium sized white half pearls on two corners.
